Jeca was born and raised in Texas. Her mother taught her the importance of working hard and giving everything you had every day. Jeca instilled in her children the importance of valuing our neighbors and being kind and considerate to everyone they met. Jeca has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Educated To Serve & Lead
Jeca has spent her career helping people solve problems. Early in her career Jeca worked for a major telecommunications company. As a member of Communications Workers of America Local 6215, Jeca served as a union steward and helped her coworkers resolve conflicts at the workplace. Jeca knew her passion was helping people and she wanted to make it her career. This led Jeca to pursue her Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Sociology from the University of North Texas in Denton. She also earned her Masters of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Abilene Christian University in 2016.
Small Business Owner & Teacher
Jeca continued to serve her community while continuing her education and running her private practice. Her mediation practice has been open since 2014 and she has helped over 100 parties resolve disputes across DFW and the state of Texas.
Additionally, Jeca continues to help people obtain their goals by serving as an adult ESL instructor with a local school district.
